MG Car Club – #Petrolheads Places

In this edition of Petrolheads

We head to the home of the MG Car Club.

The MG Car Club was founded in 1930 by John Thornley, just six years after William Morris started the sports car maker. The club is now one of the biggest in the world with over 55,000 members – no wonder that MGs are among the most popular classic cars in the world.

The club is based at Kimber House near MG’s former home base in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, and many treasures from MG’s history are on display there.
