Tony Westhall – #Petrolheads

Tony Westhall has always loved Austins and first learnt to drive in his Dad’s Austin 12, which later became his first car. Although he treasured this vehicle, his dream was to acquire an open car and so his search for an Austin Newbury 12/6 Tourer began. This would prove to be challenging as there were only 250 made and set him down the road of building up an impressive collection of Austins through the years, including a one of a kind 1934 Austin Gordon DHC. He recollects the colourful journey of obtaining and restoring these beauties.
